Before entering the pastorate, Greg worked for Potlatch
Corporation for 13 years between St. Maries and Lewiston, Idaho. Prior
to that
he worked as a meat cutter in Nampa, Idaho and an electrician for Idaho
Power in Boise, Idaho. Greg's ministry experience includes nine years
of service as Senior Pastor in three churches and several years
of pulpit supply. He joined the staff at SMCN in May of 2003 as the
Outreach Pastor.
Pastor Greg and
his wife, Marty, have been married for 33 years and have been partners
in ministry since 1989 when he received his first preacher's license.
Greg & Marty
have two grown daughters and a son-in-law.
Greg’s passion is to help people understand that
they belong (are accepted) in the church; that, by God’s grace, they
can learn to believe; and that as they give the Lord everything in their
lives, He will take care of their habits and hang-ups.
Greg enjoys spending
time with Marty,
his two
daughters and son-in-law, wood-working, gardening, playing with
his two dogs, hunting, fishing and hiking in the great outdoors.
